Wolves are set to play their first game of the Premier League season away from home for the sixth time in the last seven seasons. The game will take place in north London on the weekend of Saturday 17th August.

In the upcoming week, Wolves will welcome Chelsea to Molineux for their first Premier League game of the season. This season's schedule includes 33 matches on weekends, four midweek games, and one game on a Bank Holiday.

The schedule for the 2024/25 Premier League is expected to be quite similar to the previous season. The season will start a week later and end a week later, and the mid-season winter break will no longer be there. The last day of the season is on May 25th and it features a game between Wolves and Brentford at Molineux.

Football enthusiasts are starting to arrange their schedules according to the match timetable, and followers will be closely monitoring some of the significant games that O'Neil's team will confront in the upcoming year.

One notable event in the upcoming season is the initial West Midlands derby with Aston Villa. This match is scheduled for the weekend of September 21st and will be held at Villa Park. The following weeks will see Wolves host both Liverpool and Manchester City in consecutive home games. Notably, the current champions will visit Molineux on the weekend of October 19th.

During the Christmas season, Wolves will be making a stop at the recently-promoted Leicester City on the weekend of December 21st. Next, O'Neil's team will have Manchester United visiting them on Boxing Day, followed by a trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the capital city to cap off the year.

There are some important dates in the calendar to look out for, such as when Wolves play against Ipswich Town in the Premier League. This will be the first time the two teams have met at this level since 1984. The game will take place at Molineux during the weekend of 14th December and then they will play again at Portman Road in April.

The football season will come to an end in May, with Wolves playing matches away against Man City and Crystal Palace, and at home against Brighton & Hove Albion. The final game will be against the Bees, which is the first time that Wolves will be playing a team outside of the "big six" on the last day of the season. This will also be the second time they've ended their season at their home stadium, Molineux, since coming back to the Premier League in 2018.
