Penny Mordaunt, a member of the Conservative Party, was heavily ridiculed for giving an odd speech during the final day of the party's conference. In the speech, she urged individuals to "rise up and combat" on 12 separate occasions, causing both party members and attendees to feel both energized and bewildered.

The person in charge of the House of Commons spoke before the keynote address of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the conference. She aimed to tap into the spirit of Margaret Thatcher.

During a certain incident, she spoke to the conference and urged them to actively protect and defend the freedoms that have been acquired against any form of socialism, be it gentle or harsh.

Many people were left feeling uncertain about what Mordaunt was trying to convey during her speech, which led to her being ridiculed on various social media platforms. A person on platform X even went as far as to criticize her performance, stating that it was pitiful and highlighted her desperate need for applause. The same user also pointed out how Mordaunt had to clap for herself at the end of her speech because she had no breath or energy left. Some even speculated that Mordaunt was attempting to incite conflict with her words.

Someone else commented: "Just because she had a minor role as a sword-bearer, she suddenly believes she's the main character from Shakespeare's Henry V."

John Nicolson, Member of Parliament, recently expressed his strong distaste towards Penny Mordaunt's performance in the Commons. He described it as cringeworthy and lacking in substance, and even suggested that it was the worst he had ever seen from her.
