Under the guidance of their recently appointed manager Nuno Espirito Santo, Nottingham Forest experienced their initial defeat in a match against Bournemouth in the Premier League. Dominic Solanke scored three goals leading to a 3-2 win for the opposing team.

However, the advantage that Forest had did not last very long as Solanke quickly scored to level the game again. Afterwards, Solanke managed to score again in the 58th minute, giving Bournemouth a lead of 2-1.

Forest seemed to be on track to secure one point when Chris Woods scored the equaliser in the 74th minute, but Solanke secured victory with a goal at the end of stoppage time, completing his three-goal haul.

Bournemouth climbed up to the 11th spot on the table, while Forest is still at the 17th position. However, things are getting tense for them as they are now just two points away from falling into the relegation zone. This was made worse by Luton, who is situated in the 18th spot, getting a stunning 1-0 win over Newcastle at Kenilworth Road.

Andros Townsend managed to squash a goal all by himself, and he honored his captain Tom Lockyer through his celebration. Lockyer had a cardiac arrest in the last match with Bournemouth.

Despite a promising start to the season, Newcastle has encountered difficulties in the past few weeks and currently holds the seventh spot on the table.
