Nick Knowles will not be participating in tonight's (Saturday, October 5th) performances of Strictly Come Dancing due to an injury he sustained during rehearsals this week.

Feeling "completely devastated and really upset" about not being able to participate this week, Knowles shared a video on social media to talk about his injury.

"Unfortunately, I've got some bad news to share again," he said. "After a tough week, things were finally looking up this week. My training was going really well, and I felt like I was starting to dance quite well, according to Luba. But during today's rehearsals... I ended up taking a fall and injured my knee."

"The medical team was fantastic, and the physical therapists did an amazing job, focusing on my recovery with plenty of ice. After examining my injury, they concluded that I should get an MRI scan."

Consequently, this means Knowles won't be able to perform, and according to the show's guidelines, he and professional dancer Luba will automatically advance to the following week.

A representative from the BBC expressed, "The entire team at Strictly Come Dancing hopes Nick has a swift recovery."

Last weekend, it was uncertain whether Nick would take the stage after he hurt his shoulder and arm while changing a tire. The injury left his arm in a sling.

It was subsequently verified that both the show producers and medical staff had deemed him fit to continue. He and Luba then took to the stage to perform an American Smooth, earning a score of 21 points from the judges.
