TF Player Ratings - Brentford 2 - 4 Newcastle United - True Faith

Newcastle United

Sam Dalling experienced a happy and sunny away end while witnessing United's impressive finale. Below are his initial (and possibly final) evaluations of the players.

Nick Pope, our goalkeeper, received a rating of 7.5. It's a relief that he is match-ready again after being out for a while. Perhaps those few games of rest helped him improve. But let's be real, Pope surpassed the saves MDubz would've made. He'll be a great support to Aaron Ramsdale in the next season.

Emil Krafth received a rating of 6 out of 10 in the game. He didn't perform spectacularly well, but he was reliable for most of the game, approximately 63% of it. He made a wise decision to receive a tactical yellow card to stop the opponents from making a break at a crucial point when the score was 3-1. It would be great to see more players using such tactics in the modern game. Well done to Emil Krafth for that.

Fabian Schar had a great comeback to our Swiss team! We missed him a lot at The Theatre. He showed off his excellent skills by passing balls that usually only forwards do. However, he went down towards the end of the game. It's surprising how much in-game treatment he receives but still manages to play for so long. It makes you think about what coach Marcelino could have done differently.

What can we say about Dan Burn? He's a dependable and robust centre-half in the Premier League. He's the type of player who can secure a win for your team. Plus, he's even shown some flair by making a few successful forward moves on the pitch.

Lewis Hall was absolutely fantastic while facing forward. He was awarded a pen that may have been argued against, but nevertheless was overturned. He has a significantly low centre of gravity and impressively shifts his weight with speed. Though he had a bit of a rocky start, he received early help from the VAR system. Despite this, he is making strides and is destined to become an exceptional player in the near future.

Sean Longstaff received a rating of 7 for his performance, which was significantly improved in this particular midfield trio. He appeared to have a better understanding of his position in the team. Nevertheless, it is recommended that he plays fewer matches in the coming year.

Bruno, a 9-year-old, came through for us just when things were getting intense, saving us from a difficult situation. He celebrated in style with a bucket hat and was even better due to being with his best friend. He provided a great cross for the first goal and as the game ended, he waved a lot. This makes us wonder if it was a farewell or just a see-you-later gesture.

Joelinton received a rating of 8.5. Although he missed a seemingly easy goal from a far distance, United have truly felt his absence. He has a one-of-a-kind talent and is excellent at demolishing the competition. Personally, I think he's amazing and I'm sure you feel the same.

Jacob Murphy had a great weekend with his father and twin brother in London. His father got to see his brother Josh play well at Wembley before Jacob had a good game in green. His best performance is when he acts on instinct, which was shown with his goal. It's best not to give him too much time to think.

Alex Isak scored 8 out of 10, which could have been higher if he had scored two more goals. He is an exceptional forward who moves effortlessly on the field and can usually score with ease. His remarkable performance was evident during the match, but his best moment was actually a few seconds before Joelinton missed a shot. I highly recommend watching that moment again to witness his incredible skills.

Harvey Barnes gets a 7 rating, which is unexpected. Who would have thought he would score with his head? Other than that, I can't recall much about his performance. Nevertheless, he will surely be feeling good about himself as he goes on his long journey to Australia.

Kieran Trippier is an important player for us. However, if an offer is made for him, we must consider it. I mentioned this in January.

Paul Dummett's last game for the team is uncertain. He is a local player who has been with the team since he was young. He will perform well in the Conny League, and may even resemble the great Italian player Maldini.

When it comes to Callum Wilson, there's nothing left to say – farewell is never an easy thing to do. However, it's time for us to part ways on good terms. If only his physical state was as strong as his mental one.

Miggy Almiron's performance was classic, but his status is not applicable. He had an irresistible smile fueled by Haribo sweets that will be difficult to substitute. However, we need to find a replacement. I heard that Maxi knows the ideal places to dine.

Elliot Anderson did really well this season despite being hampered by a back injury. He managed to finish strong, proving himself a good choice as a backup on the left. However, I do believe that his true potential lies in playing central.

The player who exhibited the best performance in a match is recognized as the "Man of the Match". This is generally selected by a panel of judges or through an online voting system. The title is often awarded to a player who has scored the most goals, performed well in key moments, or exhibited extraordinary skills on the field. The Man of the Match title is a coveted recognition for football players, as it not only highlights their exceptional performance but also helps boost their confidence for future games.

Earlier, there was a post on social media requesting help for a young Newcastle fan who had started cancer treatment in Manchester. Anthony Gordon, who is only 10 years old, came across the request and decided to take action. He not only responded to it but also went above and beyond by visiting the child right away. Isn't he amazing? It's clear that he's not a bad person, contrary to what some may have thought.
