Michael, who became F1 world champion seven times, has not been observed in public since he had a near-deadly skiing mishap in Meribel, France, more than a decade ago.

On Wednesday, Mick, the son of Michael who competed in Formula One for the Haas team from 2021 to 2022, shared an Instagram story. The photo featured a throwback image of Mick as a child and his father Michael, both wearing crash helmets.

The heading stated: "Wishing a joyous birthday to the most amazing father. Adore you."

Gina-Maria, the daughter of Schumacher, shared a picture of herself with her sibling and father, with a message that says "Papa, happy birthday! This photo is one of the many beautiful memories we have shared."

Since his accident in December 2013, Schumacher’s well-being has been a mystery due to his wife Corinna’s determination to keep his personal life confidential.

Mick has been appointed as a backup driver for Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes squad. Additionally, this year he will also be taking part in the World Endurance Championship for Alpine.

On Twitter/X, the Mercedes F1 team expressed their birthday wishes to Michael. He is considered a legendary figure in the world of F1 and has now turned 55. The team shared the hashtag "Keep Fighting Michael" as a tribute to his incredible career.

When Schumacher returned from his retirement in 2010, he drove for Mercedes for three years. After Schumacher retired for the second time, Hamilton took over his role at the Silver Arrows team.

On his father Michael's 55th birthday, Mick Schumacher shared a picture of them together on Instagram.

The individual from Germany gained popularity for his stint with Ferrari, during which he secured a total of seven world titles and garnered five victories within the years 2000 to 2004. This was a remarkable feat for the athlete.

Ferrari conveyed their regards to Michael via social media by posting, "Happy Birthday, Michael. We stand by you always."

Jean Todt, who is a dear friend of the Schumacher family and was once the head of Ferrari, has been keeping us informed about Schumacher's condition. Todt revealed that he has even enjoyed watching Formula 1 races with the retired German driver in the past.

He talked about the legacy of Ferrari once more last month, saying, "Having Michael with us means I don't feel his absence."

However, the current version of Michael is not the same as before. He has undergone some changes and receives excellent guidance from his spouse and kids, who keep him safe.

He leads a changed life and I am fortunate enough to spend time with him. There isn't anything else to add.

It's sad to say, but ten years ago, Michael's life changed drastically. He's not the same person we remember from his Formula 1 days.

The legal representative for the family, Felix Damm, disclosed in October the reason why there has been no disclosure of a conclusive record regarding the well-being of the 55-year-old.

Damm revealed to a German publication, LTO, that the main purpose was to safeguard confidential matters. They contemplated if disclosing a conclusive report on Michael's condition would be the appropriate approach to achieve this goal.

"But it wouldn't be the conclusion of the matter, and the family would need to provide regularly updated information on the water level. It would not be in the family's hands to decide when the media would lose interest in the story."

It has been over a decade since Michael Schumacher was last spotted in public as a result of his skiing mishap.

The family of Michael Schumacher was featured in a 2021 Netflix documentary called "Schumacher," where Corinna talked about how they coped with the situation and how they keep moving forward with their lives.

Corinna stated that Michael is present and that he is unique, but his presence provides us with inner strength.

We stand united as a family under one roof. We engage in therapy sessions together with the hope of improving Michael's condition and making him feel at ease. Our aim is to create a strong sense of belonging and connection within our household. Our commitment to Michael's wellbeing is unwavering, and we will exhaust all possible resources to assist him.
