Yet, not everyone is happy about this choice. Michael's previous manager, Willi Weber, expressed his disappointment publicly about his inability to see him after the accident. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, he shared how much it hurt him.

Michael and Corinna have two children named Mick and Gina, who both have successful careers in their respective fields. Mick chose to pursue a career in Formula 1 racing, just like his father. He currently serves as the backup driver for the Mercedes AMG Formula One Team.
During an interview with the BBC in 2021, he discussed his profession, stating that his drive and sense of accomplishment provide him with the impetus and joy he needs to excel. He also expressed his pleasure in reintroducing the Schumacher name to the Formula 1 world. As a driver with championship titles in his repertoire, he feels confident in his abilities and is unfazed by any pressure that may come his way.

Meanwhile, Gina has taken after Corinna, who was once the European champion of horse riding in a western style. Gina competes in equestrian competitions frequently, and has even emerged victorious in the FEI European Reining Championship.

Recently, she shared a video of herself participating in a competition with a caption that read: "I feel fortunate that every morning I get to do what I adore.
