TV doctor Michael Mosley goes missing while on holiday in Greece

The representative of Michael Mosley, a doctor who also writes columns for TV, has confirmed that he is currently missing while vacationing in Greece.

Rescue efforts are currently being conducted in Symi, which is part of the Dodecanese Islands, in an attempt to locate Mosley. Mosley is recognized for his appearances on The One Show and This Morning as well as hosting documentaries.

The PA news agency was informed by his representative about his vanishing.

As per a nearby Facebook community, Mosley took a stroll from Saint Nikolas Beach on Wednesday at approximately 1.30pm, however, did not come back till Thursday morning.

A representative from the Foreign Office quoted that they are providing assistance to the family of a UK citizen who has disappeared in Greece. They are also communicating with the relevant authorities in the area.

Mosley is a writer for the Daily Mail, and has produced several movies regarding nutrition and physical activity in addition to his documentary work.

The presenter who is 67 years old appeared on the program Michael Mosley: Who Made Britain Fat? which was broadcasted on Channel 4. Additionally, they also played a role in the BBC show called Trust Me, I'm A Doctor.

He endured the presence of tapeworms inside his intestines for a period of six weeks while filming the documentary Infested! Living With Parasites, which aired on BBC Four.

Mosley has been nominated for an Emmy award for his work on the BBC documentary series, The Human Face. The show, hosted by John Cleese, explores the complexities and diversity of human faces, with appearances from notable personalities such as Elizabeth Hurley, Pierce Brosnan, and David Attenborough.

He also supported occasional fasting by means of the 5:2 eating plan and The Fast 800 diet.

Dr. Mosley has a family of four kids with his spouse, Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley, who is a health author and columnist. She has penned the renowned recipe guide called Fast 800 Easy.

The pair, who have organized theatrical exhibitions jointly, went to the Hay Festival where Mosley hosted a distinctive version of his Radio 4 show and podcast, Just One Thing.
