Michele Morrone, Megan Fox's co-star in "Subservience," has responded to speculation about their romantic involvement.
After her recent breakup with Machine Gun Kelly, a video from the film's set started circulating again, showing a fun moment between Morrone, 34, and Fox, 38. This has stirred up fans who are now discussing the chemistry between the two.
The video that recently took the internet by storm was filmed during the production of *Subservience*, a science fiction thriller that came out in August. The film was launched on Netflix in December and rapidly achieved popularity among viewers, even though it received poor reviews from critics. In the movie, Morrone takes on the role of a father who brings home an AI android, portrayed by Fox, to help with chores, but things go awry when the AI starts to gain a troubling level of self-awareness.
In the popular video, the Transformers actor is shown resting against Morrone and grinning as she assists him in saying “Spongebob,” which he found difficult to pronounce because of his accent. The clip wraps up with the two exchanging a lighthearted look, and Fox jokingly asks, “What’s this for?!”
The playful exchanges between the actors led to online rumors about a potential real-life relationship. One fan noted, “Honestly, if Megan Fox left MGK for this handsome guy, I wouldn't hold it against her.”
"That's great for her!" someone else commented. "She looks so much better with his attractive self compared to that tall oddball."
Morrone's spokesperson has clarified the situation to TMZ, stating that their relationship is strictly professional. "Any claims suggesting it's more than just a work friendship are false. They worked together on a film last year, and Michele is currently in Italy for another project," they explained.
The speculation started shortly after the star of Jennifer's Body ended her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, who is actually named Colson Baker. The couple called it quits just a few weeks after revealing they were going to have their first child together.
The couple is said to have separated while on a trip to Vail, Colorado, over Thanksgiving weekend, where things became quite tense. According to reports, the breakup happened after Fox found something troubling on the rapper's phone, which led her to ask him to cut the trip short. After he left, it's believed that they are no longer in a relationship.
Sources told Us Weekly that the couple had been working on repairing their relationship, especially since Fox is expecting a baby, but their strong personalities resulted in more disagreements. "They ended things in late November," one insider said, noting that although they are currently apart, there is still a chance they could get back together in the future.
On November 11, Fox shared her pregnancy news through a series of photos on Instagram. In one image, she held up a positive pregnancy test, while in another, she gently supported her baby bump, which was coated in black liquid. The post included a caption featuring lines from Kelly's song "last november," reflecting on the couple's previous miscarriage.
She remarked, "Nothing is ever truly gone. It's great to have you back."
This will be Fox's fourth kid and Kelly's second. Fox has three sons—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8—from her previous marriage to Brian Austin Green. On the other hand, Kelly has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie with her former partner, Emma Cannon.
The couple first crossed paths while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020. Their romance became known to the public a few months later when Fox featured in Kelly's music video for “Bloody Valentine” in May. By January 2022, they were engaged.
