Megan Fox has shared the exciting news that she is going to have a baby with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly.
On Monday, November 11, the 38-year-old star of Transformers took to Instagram to announce that she and her 34-year-old partner are going to have a baby. In a series of photos shared with the news, the mother of three, soon to be four, showed a positive pregnancy test in one image and lovingly held her baby bump, which was covered in black liquid, in another.
She added a caption to the pictures featuring lines from Kelly's song "Last November," reflecting on the couple's previous miscarriage. Her words were, “Nothing is truly lost. Glad to have you back.”
In November 2023, Megan Fox opened up about her experience with miscarriage through two heartfelt poems featured in her book, *Pretty Boys Are Poisonous*. In a conversation with *Good Morning America* regarding the collection, she talked about how she coped with the loss, with the support of her fiancé by her side.
"I've never experienced anything like that before," she reflected. "With three children, it was tough for both of us. It took us on a chaotic journey, both together and apart, as we tried to understand, 'What does this mean?' and 'Why did this occur?'"
This wasn’t the first time Fox faced a miscarriage. In a 2023 interview with Women’s Wear Daily, she talked about having gone through an ectopic pregnancy, a condition where a fertilized egg settles and develops outside the uterus, according to the Mayo Clinic. This kind of pregnancy is not viable because the fertilized egg cannot thrive, and the developing tissue can lead to severe, life-threatening bleeding.
Fox remarked, "That experience turned out to be far more challenging than I expected, and I've spent a lot of time reflecting on why that was the case. I’ve faced a lot in my past, including an ectopic pregnancy and some other personal matters that I won’t discuss, just to avoid causing a stir."
"But I've faced similar situations before, though never with someone I felt this deeply for," she continued.
This will be Fox's fourth child and Kelly's second. Fox has three sons—Noah, who is 12, Bodhi, who is 10, and Journey, who is 8—from her previous marriage to Brian Austin Green. On the other hand, Kelly, whose birth name is Colson Baker, has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie with his former partner, Emma Cannon.
In March 2020, Fox and Kelly met for the first time while working on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass. Not long after that, they made their relationship official when Fox appeared in Kelly's music video for "Bloody Valentine" in May 2020. This happened just a few days after Green announced that he and Fox had ended their nearly ten-year marriage.
By January 2022, the couple got engaged, and Fox shared the exciting news on Instagram. She uploaded a video of Kelly popping the question beneath a banyan tree, a location that held special significance for both of them.
"Back in July 2020, we found ourselves sitting beneath this banyan tree," Fox mentioned in her caption at that time. "We hoped for something magical. Little did we know about the challenges that awaited us in the near future—challenges that would test us profoundly in a brief but intense timeframe. We were completely unaware of the effort and sacrifices our relationship would demand, yet we were captivated by our love and the cosmic connection we shared."
“A year and a half later, after enduring tough times together and sharing more laughter than I ever thought we could, he proposed to me,” she explained. “Just like in every previous life and in every future one, I accepted his proposal… and then we shared a symbolic moment by drinking each other’s blood. 1.11.22 ✨.”
