A professional lip reader claims that Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham most likely directed a disrespectful remark towards Mason Greenwood in their intense derby match on Thursday. The expert has proclaimed a high level of confidence in his assessment, estimating a 97% probability of the insult having been mouthed by Bellingham.

The first encounter of the season between two English players took place between Greenwood, who joined Getafe in LaLiga last September, and Bellingham, who signed with Real Madrid in June. They both completed the game without any major incidents.

The young forward, who is 22 years old, agreed to leave his previous team Manchester United on loan after an inquiry was conducted into his behavior and it was decided by both parties.

In January 2022, Greenwood was accused of attempted rape, assault, and coercive behavior. However, charges were dismissed in February 2023 by the Crown Prosecution Service due to the withdrawal of crucial witnesses.

In the game that took place on Thursday, Bellingham executed a forceful tackle on a Getafe player that resulted in the ball going out of bounds. After the footage of the incident became viral on social media, some fans believe that they heard the English player say the word 'rapist' to the forward.

Jude Bellingham, who was wearing a white outfit, and Mason Greenwood, who was donning a blue ensemble, squared off against each other during the highly anticipated match between Getafe and Real Madrid on Thursday evening.

Professional lip reader Jeremy Freeman has stated that he is almost certain, at 97 percent, that Bellingham directed a specific insult towards Greenwood.

A specialist in forensic lip-reading, Jeremy Freeman, provided a unique perspective on the video clip to Mail Sport. Freeman shared that, upon thorough examination of the footage, he is 97% certain that the word spoken is "rapist", as it fits with the situation in which it was used.

The way the lips look can give hints about the 'R' and 'P' sounds, and it seems like the word comes to a sudden stop at the end.

Moreover, Freeman mentioned that the speaker exhibited a noticeable Brummie dialect, which influenced my understanding.

As these visual cues are very clear and there are no other possible explanations, I am very confident in coming to this conclusion.

After the video was shared on social media, Getafe has made a decision to do something about it. They requested that the referee of the game, Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, document the supposed insult in his report.

If Bellingham decides to continue with such actions, the Spanish football federation (RFEF) may take disciplinary action against him. However, it may be difficult to prove this without any audio evidence.

Getafe has notified the LaLiga delegate who was present at Estadio Coliseum about the alleged insult. However, the club has yet to formally complain against Bellingham.

The video was examined by Freeman while considering Bellingham's accent that is specific to Birmingham.

The supposed remark was made shortly after the football star from Real Madrid tackled Greenwood close to the sideline.

The authorities in Bellingham have received a request for their opinion.

The rising talent of Los Blancos played a crucial role in Carlo Ancelotti's team, who easily won the derby with a 2-0 score thanks to two goals from ex-Newcastle striker Joselu.

The team's win has brought them to the highest ranking in the LaLiga league once again. They are now leading by two points, even ahead of the unexpected Girona team.

Greenwood couldn't make a similar impact for his team at home, playing the entire game wearing blue. He struck the post during the latter half but was not able to contribute much.
