And then this idea came to me unexpectedly. We were friends for a long time. I always had feelings for him, but I never thought he would feel the same way. I tried not to make things awkward, Margot.

"Don't be foolish and confess your feelings to him. And then it happened, and I was thinking, 'Of course we're a couple now.' It just feels right, in a way that nothing else ever has," she exclaimed.

They began their relationship in the following year, 2014, and tied the knot in 2016.

In 2016, she shared with The Daily Telegraph that the best advice she received from fellow couples in the industry was to not go longer than three weeks without spending time together.

Having a long-distance relationship can be extremely challenging when you don't see an end in sight. It can play tricks on your mind, so it's important to stick to the three-week rule," she explained.

The couple prefers to keep their relationship private and didn't make a public appearance together until 2017, nearly a year after getting married.
