X Factor's Lucy Spraggan stuns in first images from her star-studded wedding

The first sneak peek of Lucy Spraggan's glamorous wedding has been unveiled after she tied the knot with Emilia Smith.

The 32-year-old woman, who became popular on the 2012 TV show The X Factor, was walked down the aisle by her close friend Simon Cowell before the wedding at Saltmarshe Hall in East Yorkshire last week.

In the first picture of their wedding day, Spraggan looked stylish in a white three-piece suit from King & Allen, while Smith wore a beautiful strapless white wedding dress.

The picture showed the happy couple surrounded by falling confetti as they left the event, while Cowell watched proudly in his iconic sunglasses.

In an interview with HELLO! about their wedding, the couple revealed that Cowell and their Boston Terrier, Steve, dressed in a stylish black bow tie, had important parts in the festivities.

The singer, who is known for her hit song Sober, also revealed that she chose to walk down the aisle to a song she wrote for her wife, called Other Sides of the Moon.

The song pays tribute to Smith, telling the story of how their friendship of ten years turned into something romantic.

She said: "Simon and I were outside the door when my song began to play. I was already in tears, and Simon looked emotional too."

I was holding onto his arm, not linking arms as I had initially thought. He reassured me by saying, "You're fine, everything's okay." As soon as Emilia came in with her father, I couldn't help but cry.

Talking about the time when her wife walked down the aisle, Smith mentioned: "Seeing Lucy was all I had ever hoped for and even better than I imagined."

Once I reached the end of the aisle, Simon was gazing at us with pride, as was my father.

Some of the people who were present included Cowell and his partner, Lauren Silverman, as well as actor Tom Turgoose, Bimini Bon-Boulash from RuPaul's Drag Race, and reality TV personality Adam Collard.

Spraggan revealed to Fabulous Magazine in March that she had requested Cowell to walk her down the aisle while she was visiting him and his partner.

The celebrity was once wed to Georgina Gordon, but in November 2019, she revealed that they had separated after being married for three years.
