On her Instagram, the American pop sensation composed the following statement: "I'm beginning to get the impression that the world has no place for me."

She did not specify if this meant she was departing from the music business or social networking platforms.

Lizzo expressed her weariness of enduring the constant criticism and negativity from both her personal interactions and online presence.

The blog entry was published one day after a legal representative for her previous backup dancers expressed disapproval of the selection of the pop star as the main performer for a charity event, given the accusations made against her in the prior year.

The dancers claimed that Lizzo sexually harassed them and made their work environment uncomfortable. However, Lizzo has refuted these allegations and stated otherwise.

Lizzo shared in her social media post that her desires are to create music that brings joy to people and contribute to making the world a better place. However, she's beginning to feel like she's not accepted in this world.

Lizzo, the 35-year-old famous singer of Good as Hell, mentioned that she often faced untrue statements that were being spread about her only to gain attention and viewership.

Lizzo, who was photographed at the Met Gala last year, has gained her popularity for her songs like Truth Hurts, Juice, Good As Hell and 2 Be Loved.

She expressed that she consistently feels ridiculed because of her appearance, and that her personality is being criticized by individuals who are unfamiliar with her.

"I never agreed to this," she determined. "I'm resigning."

Lizzo is recognized for promoting the acceptance and love of her body and personality. However, she has expressed her disappointment with harmful remarks on the internet regarding her appearance in the past.

Last year, in May, she shared that she had been targeted with a fresh wave of criticism about her body on X, which used to be known as Twitter. The negative comments included assumptions about her eating habits and whether she consumes a significant amount of fast food.

"At that time, she had expressed that she was very close to losing hope in everyone and deciding to quit," she wrote.

In August of last year, Lizzo was sued by three individuals who used to work as her dancers. Their accusations were related to sexual harassment and making the work environment uncomfortable.

Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez are suing the singer, her dance captain, and her production company. They used to be dancers themselves.

Legal proceedings have been initiated that involve claims of sexual, religious and racial mistreatment, bias, attack and wrongful confinement.

People have also made allegations that during her tour, Lizzo engaged in fat-shaming behavior towards Ms. Davis.

The vocalist - whose actual name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson - declared that the accusations were "untrue" and as "remarkable as they seem."

Lizzo's most recent appearance took place on Thursday, when she put on a show at Radio City Music Hall in New York to gather funds for US President Joe Biden.

According to NewsNation, the three former dancers have a lawyer named Ron Zambrano representing them. Zambrano expressed his disappointment that Lizzo was selected to perform at the event given the serious accusations against the organization.

The BBC News organization has attempted to get in touch with the representative of Lizzo in order to obtain some feedback.
