The vocalist known as About Damn Time, whose actual name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, hasn't explicitly specified the subject matter that prompted her recent online remark.

But, this news comes just one day after a legal representative, who is working for three ex-dancers that filed a legal claim against Lizzo in August 2020, stated that it was inappropriate for the singer to perform at a President Joe Biden fundraiser held at Radio City. The legal representative called it "disgraceful" due to the serious allegations against Lizzo.

Lizzo, who is 35 years old, expressed on Instagram that she is becoming weary of enduring being pushed around by individuals in her personal life and on the internet.

My only wish is to create music, bring joy to people, and contribute to making the world a better place. However, I'm beginning to sense that the universe may not want me to exist in it.

I frequently face false claims made about me just to gain popularity and attract attention...I always end up being teased and ridiculed due to my appearance, constantly becoming the target of jokes.

People are scrutinizing my personality even though they have no knowledge about me and showing disrespect towards my identity.

She concluded the blog by declaring, "This is not what I agreed to endure. I am resigning," accompanied by a peace symbol icon.

In August of last year, Lizzo and her company that makes productions faced a lawsuit from her former dancers - Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez. They claimed that Lizzo had subjected them to sexual harassment and had made their workplace uncomfortable.

During that period, the famous singer expressed the accusations as emotionally painful and profoundly disheartening, saying that the assertions are exceptionally hard to accept.

Last Thursday, Lizzo made an appearance at Radio City Music Hall in New York to raise funds for the US President. The event was hosted by Mindy Kaling.

According to NewsNation, Ron Zambrano, the lawyer defending the three ex-dancers, expressed his disapproval over Lizzo being selected to be the main attraction of an event with serious accusations. He stated that it was unbecoming of her.
