Barcelona starring Lily Collins and Álvaro Morte – first look in rehearsals

New rehearsal photos have been shared featuring Lily Collins (from Emily in Paris) and Álvaro Morte (from Money Heist) in their upcoming play, Barcelona, which is set to debut later this month in the West End.

Written by Bess Wohl and directed by Lynette Linton, the production will be staged at the Duke of York’s Theatre starting from October 21, 2024, for a limited run of just 12 weeks. The story revolves around an American traveler who ends up going back to his country with a charming Spaniard, but events quickly spiral into a perilous situation.

Frankie Bradshaw is responsible for the set and costume design, while lighting is handled by Jai Morjaria. The composition and sound design are created by Duramaney Kamara and Xana, with Gino Ricardo Green working on video design. Cynthia De La Rosa takes care of wigs, hair, and makeup. Heather Basten oversees UK casting, and Jim Carnahan manages US casting. Movement direction and intimacy coordination are by Shelley Maxwell, vocal coaching is provided by Hazel Holder, and dramatherapy is offered by Wabriya King.

The direction is led by Katie Greenall, with Natalie Johnson serving as the associate designer. Caroline Stevens takes on the role of associate costume designer and supervisor. The production manager is Kate West, alongside Charlotte Ranson, who is the associate production manager.

The production is handled by ATG Productions, Bad Robot Live, and Gavin Kalin Productions.
