The movie Leave the World Behind has reached the top position on Netflix's list of most watched films.
A post-apocalyptic drama movie featuring Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, and Kevin Bacon was made by Higher Ground Productions. This production company was established by the former President of the United States, Barack Obama and his spouse Michelle.
Based on Rumaan Alam's book of 2020 with the identical title, Leave the World Behind tells the story of a world that falls apart as technological systems, such as phones and televisions, begin to malfunction.
Although Leave the World Behind had a high ranking on the streaming platform, surpassing popular movies like Family Switch and The Grinch, it received a variety of opinions from critics, and the reaction from viewers was equally divided.
Leave the World Behind has received mixed reviews on the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. While some critics have given it a positive score of 75 per cent, the audience score is significantly lower at only 42 per cent.
Social media users shared their opinion about the movie, and most of them criticized its long duration of 140 minutes. They expressed their disappointment and felt that it was unnecessary for such a long runtime.

The story took too much time to reach its conclusion, and when it did, the outcome was disappointingly negative and lacking in good storytelling. As a result of these factors, they did not enjoy the movie.
"I made the mistake of watching Leave the World Behind. I wish I had chosen to watch something else because this movie is quite lengthy, almost spanning over two and a half hours," expressed another discontent viewer.
The movie "Leave The World Behind" wasn't terrible, but it definitely didn't need to be nearly 2 and a half hours long. In my opinion, most movies shouldn't be longer than an hour and 50 minutes. However, no one asked me for my opinion, so I won't waste your time with it.

At the beginning of this month, a new game called Family Switch was put out, and it caused a bit of a stir among people who saw it because of a joke it included about a kiss that was related to incest.
The movie, helmed by McG, features a plot where four individuals from the same family end up swapping bodies. A husband and wife take on the roles of their offspring and vice versa.
The heated moment features the two youngsters, who are trapped inside the physical forms of their parents, being compelled to engage in a kiss at a social function.
