Additionally, the vocalist has received the prestigious BRITs Global Icon prize.

On Saturday at the O2 Arena in London, Kylie Minogue was presented with the prestigious Global Icon award at the esteemed 2024 BRIT Awards. Additionally, she astounded the audience with her stunning performance.

Dua Lipa, who received the Pop Act award and also performed at the BRITs, gave the award to Minogue. The Australian pop icon has achieved nine U.K. Number One Albums and seven U.K. Number One singles in her career that has spanned over 30 years. Commenting on Minogue, the presenter said during the show, "Kylie is an expert in refreshing her music."

Minogue expressed her gratitude towards all those who have been a part of her journey and also acknowledged the success of her contemporaries. She got emotional and praised Raye who created history by winning six trophies at the Brit Awards 2024.

For 36 years and counting, we've shared a lifetime of moments together. What really resonates with me is the passion we both have for music and creating meaningful connections. Even after all these years, I still feel like the 14-year-old girl locked up in her room dreaming of making music and impacting the industry. I want to give a special mention to the talented students from the esteemed BRIT school and urge them to follow their dreams.

"I completely understand you. Your commitment inspires me, and I am thrilled for you," she expressed. "While I, on the other hand, have my own set of circumstances. Regardless, I firmly believe that anything is achievable."

At the end of the night, Minogue delivered an awe-inspiring medley. Her performance started with her wearing a shiny red outfit and standing on a small platform above the stage while singing "Padam Padam." Later on, the platform was lowered to reach the stage level and she changed into different outfits as she sang her way through other eras. Minogue was joined by futuristic backup dancers as she continued to perform. She then took off her outer red dress and appeared in a black gown with white trim to sing her 2001 hit, "Can't Get You Out of My Head."

However, the artist had more surprises in store. As she changed her outfit once again on stage, a bunch of individuals wearing black masks and cloaks appeared. She discarded her black dress and uncovered a white one before performing “Love at First Sight."

"Many thanks!" She exclaimed while striding along the runway. "I am truly grateful for all of you being part of this amazing journey," she added as she concluded her almost seven-minute set with the triumphant song "All the Lovers" at the 2024 Brit Awards.
