Kyle Clifford charged with murder of Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt

KYLE CLIFFORD has been accused of killing three women who passed away after an assault in their residence in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

On July 9, Carol Hunt and her daughters, Louise and Hannah, became victims at their residence on Ashlyn Close.

At the time of the incident, her spouse, BBC commentator John Hunt, along with their youngest daughter, Amy, were away from home.

Clifford, who lives on Rendlesham Road in Enfield, was taken into custody the next day after being discovered hurt at Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield.

Today, the Crown Prosecution Service has announced that he has been formally charged with the murders of the women.

The 26-year-old faces charges for having two offensive weapons and one count of holding someone against their will.

He was scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrate's Court this morning.

Detective Chief Inspector Nick Gardner from the BCH Major Crime Unit expressed, "We continue to keep the Hunt family and their friends in our thoughts as they navigate through this difficult time and cope with their grief."

"In the last few months, we have been diligently collecting a wide range of information and trying to fully understand the events of that day," he noted.

"We have successfully filed charges against Kyle Clifford related to the murders of Carol, Hannah, and Louise Hunt."

"Even though it has taken a while to arrive at this point, we are now ready to proceed with the legal proceedings and pursue justice for their family."
