Kalvin Phillips raises middle finger at West Ham fans after Newcastle defeat

Kalvin Phillips had a really bad time during his loan period at West Ham, and his troubles have worsened after a confrontation with supporters was caught on camera following Saturday's 4-3 loss to Newcastle.

The player who represents England in football has been having a tough time performing since he joined the team from Manchester City in January. He made a mistake by conceding a penalty that was debatable when he had just come into the game at St James' Park. The Hammers were winning by three goals to one when he was substituted in the 69th minute. However, the opposing team scored another successful penalty from Alexander Isak and a brace from Harvey Barnes which made them victorious.

On social media, a video was shared where a person from the crowd can be heard shouting, "You're worthless!" at Phillips as he boards the team coach following the game. When Phillips gets inside the coach, it's visible that he raises his hand with the middle finger towards the fans. West Ham hasn't made any statement regarding this situation.

David Moyes explained why he opted to bring Phillips on during the second half by stating, "I believed that adding an additional midfielder would offer us improved dominance in the middle of the field. However, regrettably, it did not prove successful."

The manager of West Ham included: "During that moment, I thought that they were a tad superior than our team. We scored two goals while they scored only once, and then we scored another goal for a total of three. After that, we had to concentrate on our defensive tactics and make it difficult for them to attack us."
