Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are married, Jon Bon Jovi confirms

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have tied the knot and are now officially married.

In the midst of rumors that the actor from "Stranger Things" and the model have tied the knot, Jon Bon Jovi, the father of Bongiovi and a famous rock star, has verified the information.

During an interview on BBC's "The One Show" on Tuesday, the singer was questioned about his son's marriage. Bon Jovi was asked about the status of the couple, to which he replied, "They're doing well."

"He said that they were amazing," he added. "The wedding had only close family members, and the bride looked stunning. Jake was thrilled, and everything went well. That's right."

The couple has not officially announced their marriage to the public as of now. However, during the Memorial Day weekend, they were captured sporting wedding bands in a photograph.

There isn't much information available about the wedding of Brown and Bongiovi. Nonetheless, Modine, who starred alongside Brown in "Stranger Things," stated in a March interview with "Access Daily" that he will be overseeing the ceremony as the couple's officiant.

Modine, who played the character of Dr. Martin Brenner, also known as Eleven's "Papa," revealed that he possesses a license to legally wed people. When Millie expressed interest in his license, Jake agreed it would be a fantastic idea to have Modine officiate their wedding. Modine happily accepted and even wrote their wedding vows, which they greatly appreciated. Thus, Millie and Jake joined hands and tied the knot as husband and wife.

Brown and Bongiovi made their relationship public on Instagram in June 2021 and have been going strong ever since. They finally decided to take the next step and got engaged in April 2023, even though they had discovered each other on Instagram several years prior.

"I have adored you for three summers already, my dear. I desire to have each and every one of them," she wrote as she revealed their engagement with a quote from a Taylor Swift song.

When she appeared on "The Tonight Show" at a later time, she shared that he proposed to her while they were diving underwater. As they were diving, Bongiovi gave her a shell.

The performer has freely expressed her affection for Bongiovi, disclosing to The Sunday Times in August 2023 that she believed he was the perfect partner.

She stated that since they met, they have decided to always stay together. There's no specific reason to determine why someone is "the one," but it's the sensation of realizing that is the person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life.

Bon Jovi showed his full support for his son and daughter-in-law's relationship. The famous singer, known for his hit song “It’s My Life”, expressed his admiration for the couple in an interview with “E! News”. He mentioned that they were deeply in love, and that he and his family are happy for them.

In March 2024, Bon Jovi and his spouse, Dorothea Hurley, were present at Brown's movie premiere for "Damsel" held in New York. The couple joined their family to take snapshots on the red carpet.
