There's something happening at Seaclose Park in Newport from June 20th to June 23rd.

The Prodigy, a band from England that makes electronic music, will be playing on Friday. Pet Shop Boys will take the main stage on Saturday. On Sunday, Green Day will be giving a special performance only for this festival in the United Kingdom.

. Ever since their inception in 1981, Pet Shop Boys have managed to establish themselves as a highly popular and long-lasting musical group across the globe.

According to festival organizer John Giddings, he had made consistent efforts to secure booking Green Day for the last five years.

"I'm extremely happy. It feels like a weight off my shoulders to finally share this news - I received confirmation six weeks ago, but it was confidential, so I'm thrilled that it's officially public," he expressed.

The performance by The Prodigy was absolutely amazing. The Pet Shop Boys have achieved a lot more hits than the number of times I've sat down for a nice hot meal. I'm sure this weekend is going to be fantastic.

In 2002, Mr Giddings became the head of the newly-revived Isle of Wight Festival, after he had previously gone to one of its epic gatherings back in 1970.

Past performances have featured renowned musicians such as The Rolling Stones, Queen with Adam Lambert, and Robbie Williams.

"I am immensely proud of this. Witnessing a gathering of 50,000 individuals in an open space having a good time gives me immeasurable joy. I relish this experience greatly," expressed Mr. Giddings.
