Gloria Hunniford shared the sad news that her husband of over two decades, Stephen Way, has passed away.

The experienced TV host, who is 84 years old, married the entrepreneur in 1998. She expressed that his absence will be greatly felt in her life.

In a message released on Wednesday, his family announced the passing of Stephen Way, Gloria's cherished husband, with great sorrow and deep sadness. He passed away yesterday after a long battle.

Stephen had been bravely battling his illness, always showing determination and a positive attitude.

Way's age was 85, as confirmed by Hunniford's representative.

Hunniford expressed that Stephen was a kind and influential man who will be greatly missed by her and their whole family.

He was a very nice, giving, and compassionate man, with a charmingly odd sense of humor that lasted until the very end.

"We had an incredibly joyful 25-year marriage and experienced countless wonderful and thrilling moments that I will always hold dear."

Way was praised as a fantastic husband, father, and grandfather, and Hunniford expressed her deep sadness and shock at his passing.

"A once radiant light has faded, and he will be remembered and missed in every moment."

Way was the one who shared the tragic news of her ex-husband Don Keating's passing. She had just finished hosting a television talk show in 1997 when she disclosed this information.

When they began their relationship, he was the proprietor of a hair salon located on New Bond Street in Mayfair.

Hunniford's daughter Caron Keating, who was also a television host, passed away from breast cancer in 2004. In honor of her memory, Hunniford established a foundation.

In 2017, Hunniford was honored with an OBE during the Queen's Birthday Honours for her work with cancer charities, specifically in the areas of breast screening services and cancer support.

She began working in television in Northern Ireland before moving to London to work on the game show We Love TV. She also hosted a Radio 2 show for over ten years.

Hunniford has consistently appeared on television shows such as Loose Women, This Morning, Rip Off Britain, The Travelling Picture Show, Home Away From Home, and Food: Truth Or Scare, entertaining audiences in homes across the country.

The person from Portadown was on the TV show Strictly Come Dancing in 2005. She danced with Darren Bennett. She also was on The Masked Singer in 2022.
