Giovanni Pernice is still standing up for himself after being accused by his Strictly Come Dancing partner Amanda Abbington.

Amanda withdrew from the 2023 show due to "medical reasons" only a month into the series. Later, she claimed that her professional partner Giovanni had behaved poorly during their training sessions.

Giovanni finally spoke out about the ongoing disagreement this past weekend, and when he showed up on Tuesday's Lorraine, he was questioned about whether or not he would modify his teaching style for the 2024 season.

During a conversation with the Italian dancer, Lorraine Kelly inquired, "We're aware that this year didn't go quite as planned for you on Strictly. Do you plan on making any alterations since you are known to be a person who strives for perfection?"

Giovanni Pernice is still insisting on clearing his name amidst allegations made by his dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing, Amanda Abbington.

Giovanni stated that success is not solely based on winning and that there are times when things do not go according to plan.

In my opinion, it's unfortunate. As I've expressed before, I believed that Amanda had the potential to reach the final due to her impressive talent.

The objective is to help them achieve their maximum potential, as I had previously mentioned in regards to Amanda, and the judges had been providing favorable comments.

During their appearance on the ITV show to promote their latest travel series, Anton Du Beke shared his perspective as a judge on the BBC competition.

"I find it fascinating to observe it through the judge's vantage point," he stated. "At times, the individuals you expect to win don't even make it to the finals, and some unexpected contenders emerge, making it unpredictable."

Last Saturday, Giovanni faced a new setback as it was alleged that three of his ex-celebrity colleagues joined forces to talk about their challenging encounters while working with him.

Insiders state that Amanda, Ranvir Singh, and Laura Whitmore had a deeply emotional meeting where they discussed and compared their experiences of working alongside the Italian dancer on the BBC program.

However, shortly after the allegations came to light, the BBC expressed their backing for their Strictly celebrity by promoting his latest travel program on social media.

Amanda withdrew from the show due to "medical reasons" only after one month into the series. Afterwards, she claimed that her professional partner Giovanni had displayed challenging behaviour during their training sessions (as pictured together on the show).

Last weekend, Giovanni finally spoke up about the ongoing argument. When he appeared on Tuesday's Lorraine show, he was asked whether he would adjust his teaching approach.

Giovanni emphasized that success is not solely defined by winning. He added that there are occasions when one may succeed, and other times when they may not. Expressing his disappointment, Giovanni reiterated his belief that Amanda had the potential to emerge victorious, a view he had previously shared.

On Monday night, Giovanni and Anton got invited to The One Show couch to promote the television series. This gesture indicated a strong bond between them.

On Monday's release of the TV show Anton & Giovanni's Adventures in Spain, Giovanni talked about his work ethic while confessing to his buddy Anton that he is a 'workaholic.'

There's a clear worry that everything will come to an end eventually. That's the reality.

I provide financial support for both myself and my family in Sicily, which leads me to worry that if I were to stop, everything and everyone would come to a halt due to my absence.

According to reports, Amanda plans to hire a skilled attorney named Persephone Bridgman Baker to request the footage of the rehearsals as she continues to battle against Strictly and Giovanni, who is 33 years old.

The actress who starred in Sherlock, aged 52, left Strictly in October because of 'personal reasons'. Some have suggested that a conflict between her and Giovanni contributed to her departure.

Later on, it was reported that she asked for videos of their practices following the event in the contest that gave her PTSD.

Amanda supposedly secured the services of prominent attorney Persephone Bridgman Baker to request the footage of her rehearsals as she persists in her legal battle against both Strictly and Giovanni, who is 33 years old.

According to The Sun newspaper, Amanda has teamed up with a skilled attorney named Persephone to assist her in drafting a legal document intended for the BBC. This letter is aimed at securing access to the rehearsal footage which Amanda needs.

According to an insider, Amanda is planning to appoint a famous attorney to assist her in obtaining the practice recordings of her and Giovanni so that she can examine them thoroughly.

The website for Carter-Ruck law firm states that Persephone has experience in managing media and reputation issues, including matters related to damage to one's character, privacy violations, and incidents of harassment. She also handles cases related to data protection and intellectual property disputes.

MailOnline has reached out to both the BBC and Amanda for their input and response.
