The pride of lions at West Midlands Safari Park have forecasted that England will not succeed in Euro 2024.

The lions, who have never made an accurate prediction before, were presented with two boxes containing food - one marked with a positive thumbs up and the other with a negative thumbs down.

They chose the negative option, indicating that Gareth Southgate's team would once again return home without any success.

Football supporters can now relax as goalkeeper Alex Kenny has confessed that the creatures were never accurate.

According to Mr Kenny, he and his fellow caretakers attempted to make the lions forecast many sports competitions, but the lions have always been inaccurate till the present time.

Before the forecast was made, he spoke to BBC Hereford & Worcester and expressed his belief that they would predict a positive result for England.

Talking about how badly the pride has been doing, he also mentioned that even the worst team can have a winning moment.

Mr. Kenny mentioned that everyone has a beginning, when he talked about the lions' abysmal forecast performance.

The English team will be kicking off their Euro 2024 journey this coming Sunday at 8:00 PM British Summer Time, taking on Serbia in their first match.

After that, their next opponent will be Denmark on the 20th of June, followed by their last match in Group C against Slovenia on the 25th of June.
