The 13th season of a mysterious TV series premiered on Sunday, 4 February, featuring Ralf Little reprising his role as DI Neville Parker, along with a mix of familiar and fresh faces.

Even though Little said that she was a bit irritated about the fact that one particular well-known person was part of the 100th celebration expedition, a lot of spectators were let down by the fact that another person was not present.

The main character in focus is the beloved Harry, a lizard that resides in Neville's bungalow. Throughout nearly every episode, this computer-generated marvel has made an appearance, serving as a trusted confidant for Neville as he works through various case details.

Yet, Harry was not present, causing audience members to wonder and raise inquiries about his absence.

One fan expressed their satisfaction with the exciting first episode, however, they were not pleased about the absence of their beloved character, @DIPHarryLizard. Another fan sympathized with the character's absence, hoping that he wasn't feeling down and encouraging the other to give him extra insects.

After the episode aired, a fan who is devoted to Harry the Lizard made a post on social media. The post expressed disappointment towards the show, saying "Dear @deathinparadise, I can't believe you didn't include me in the 100th episode! I've been a loyal part of the show since the beginning and the fans adore me!!! From a very heartbroken little lizard."

Harry the Lizard couldn't be found in the 100th episode of 'Death in Paradise'.

Viewers criticized the director of the episode, Steve Hughes, for ignoring an issue that was important to them, but he eventually acknowledged it.

Hughes, on his X/Twitter account, stated that numerous individuals were disappointed that Harry did not appear in the latest episode. He further explained that they filmed a scene featuring Harry, but unfortunately, due to the number of events taking place, they were unable to include it in the final cut.

Neville has not been portrayed by Little since the year 2020. The previous main actors of the show are now Krys Marshall and Ardal O'Hanlon.

Ralf Little takes on the role of DI Neville Parker in the TV series 'Death in Paradise'.

The upcoming series will showcase a number of famous faces as guest stars, such as Hayley Mills, Richard Fleeshman, and Pearce Quigley.

Little shared his thoughts on Mills, the special guest star for the upcoming series. He revealed that out of all the guest stars he has encountered, Mills was the only one to make him feel starstruck. He explained that given her reputation and level of experience, one might expect her to be difficult or demanding, but she proved to be a delight to work with. Little describes Mills as a kind, professional, and humorous person, making her a dream guest to have on set. Overall, Mills is a true legend in the industry.
