Observe: Demonstrators expressing opposition to Israel's policies have invaded an airport in Russia, causing it to shut down.

The Israeli government has called on Russia to safeguard "every single one of its inhabitants and Jewish individuals" in the wake of a sizable crowd that caused chaos at an airport in Dagestan, with several members reportedly chanting derogatory remarks targeting Jews.

From the looks of a video captured in the area, it appears that a group of individuals were in quite a roused state at the Makhachkala airport. Allegedly, this group was in pursuit of individuals entering from Tel Aviv.

A group of people rushed towards the airstrip and clustered around the airplanes present there.

The aviation department of Russia declared that the condition was manageable as soon as the authorities reached the location.

According to Rosaviatsia, the airport is temporarily shutting down and won't resume operations until the 6th of November.

Numerous social media videos displayed a large group of individuals forcefully entering the airport terminal, a few of whom held Palestine flags and chanted "Allahu Akbar" (an Islamic phrase meaning "God is great").

Local news recently covered an event where several protestors were obstructing vehicles near Makhachkala's airport, insisting on obtaining documents in a disorganized attempt to locate Israeli passports.

According to health authorities, there were a number of individuals who sustained injuries.

According to the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, it is imperative for Russia to take prompt and resolute actions against any instigation leading to violence against Jews and Israelis.

The administration of Dagestan, which is predominantly Muslim, is a Russian republic situated in the North Caucasus region. It has a population of around 3.1 million people and is located on the west side of the Caspian Sea. The local government recently stated that a legal proceeding has been initiated regarding an incident of public unrest.

Although it expressed solidarity with Gaza, it urged people to refrain from joining in any demonstrations and to keep a level head. Numerous protests have occurred around the world in response to Israel's attacks on Gaza.

The Dagestan government made a statement on their Telegram account advising individuals who have broken the rules of the airport to refrain from committing further illegal activities and not to disrupt the duties of the airport's staff.

The foreign ministry of Israel stated that the Israeli ambassador located in Moscow is collaborating with Russian officials. Israel expressed serious concern over any efforts to attack Israeli citizens or Jews, regardless of their location.

The Ministry's statement said that Israel anticipates that the Russian law enforcement will protect every Israeli citizen and Jewish person, no matter who they are. Moreover, Israel expects the Russian authorities to take strong measures against those participating in the riots and those who are indiscriminately inciting violence towards Jews and Israelis.
