Copa America 2024: All you need to know
Coming up soon is more exciting soccer matches from around the world. If you want to keep up with everything happening with Chelsea's South American players at this year's Copa America, here's how you can do it.
The upcoming 2024 Copa America tournament will include more teams from the CONCACAF area as well as the usual teams from CONMEBOL. This will only be the second time in history that the tournament will be held outside of South America. The USA will be hosting the tournament for the second time, eight years after the first time they hosted.
Our European players are currently participating in Euro 2024 in Germany, while our South American players will soon start competing in the Copa America tournament.
The tournament will be held across the United States, so games will be played during the late night or early morning hours in the UK.
Current champions Argentina will begin their Copa America campaign against Canada tonight at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. This is the same venue where Chelsea will face off against Club America in the third match of our US Tour.
Ecuador will start their tour at a different stadium on Chelsea's US Tour 2024. They will play against Venezuela at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, where we will also be playing against Wrexham.
Additionally, the Copa America third-place match and one of the semi-final matches will take place at another location where the Blues will be playing this summer. The venue is the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, where we will face off against the Champions League titleholders, Real Madrid.

Argentina, the champions of the previous Copa America and World Cup, are expected to be the top contenders in this tournament. They have the chance to make history by becoming the second country ever to win three major tournaments in a row, a feat previously achieved by Spain from 2008 to 2012. Argentina has only lost one game since the start of the 2022 World Cup.
After healing from his injury, Enzo Fernandez will likely play in the middle of Argentina's midfield next to Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister, as they did during their successful World Cup run.
Argentina will face Canada on Friday, June 21st at 1am BST at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Next, they will take on Chile on Wednesday, June 26th at 2am BST at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. Finally, Argentina will play against Peru on Sunday, June 30th at 1am BST at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Ecuador Soccer: Moises Caicedo & Kendry Paez
Ecuador enters the Copa America with high expectations of doing better than their fourth place finish in 1993. They have only lost to powerhouse teams like Argentina and Italy in the past year. They are coming into the tournament on the back of consecutive victories against Bolivia and Guatemala in their preparation matches.
Moises Caicedo will play a role as a holding midfielder similar to the one he plays with Chelsea. He has started every competitive game for his country for more than two years.
In the upcoming Copa America tournament, we can expect to see Kendry Paez, the youngest player in the competition. He is set to join Chelsea after turning 18 in May and has been a key player in Ecuador's World Cup qualifying matches, often playing in the No10 position.
Ecuador will face off against Venezuela on Saturday, June 22nd at 11pm British Summer Time at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. The next match will be between Ecuador and Jamaica on Wednesday, June 26th at 11pm BST at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The final game will see Mexico take on Ecuador on Monday, July 1st at 1am BST at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
