Children in Need: BBC presenters race across the region
Ellie Crisell, a presenter at BBC South East Today, will team up with Pudsey at an undisclosed location.
BBC hosts are participating in a competition throughout the south-eastern region of England to raise funds for Children In Need.
The groups of presenters from the morning programs of BBC Radios Kent, Sussex, and Surrey will commence their workday in their respective broadcast centers in Tunbridge Wells, Brighton, and Guildford. Afterward, they will travel to an undisclosed venue.
Motivated by the TV show Race Across the World, they must journey in the most affordable and speedy manner.
The groups must utilize the available public transportation or travel on foot.
Every team from the county will halt at two primary schools for checkpoints throughout their journey and get hold of images of Pudsey that those schools have adorned.
BBC Radios Kent, Sussex, and Surrey teams are heading towards an undisclosed destination.
Anna Cookson, a representative of BBC Radio Kent, expressed her excitement and eagerness to proceed. She stated, "We are fully charged and prepared to begin."
Danny Pike, a personality on the Sussex station of the British Broadcasting Corporation, exclaimed that food provisions were a clear necessity.
James Cannon, a presenter at BBC Radio Surrey, exclaimed his eagerness by saying, "I'm ready for it!"
Throughout the day, the teams will be providing updates on their challenge via various platforms including BBC Radio Kent, BBC Radio Sussex, BBC Radio Surrey, social media, and BBC South East Today which airs on BBC One at 6:30 PM GMT.
