BBC hosts will be participating in a competition throughout the southeastern region of England to raise funds for Children In Need today.

The morning programs of BBC Radios Kent, Sussex and Surrey are commencing from their respective headquarters in Tunbridge Wells, Brighton and Guildford. Afterwards, they will proceed to an undisclosed destination.

Motivated by the television show Race Across the World, their objective is to journey swiftly and economically.

The squads must rely on public transportation or traverse by foot.

Every team from the county will halt at two major schools as a checkpoint during their journey. At these stops, they will collect drawings of Pudsey that the schools have embellished.

Members of BBC Radios Kent, Sussex, and Surrey are currently en route to an undisclosed destination.

According to Anna Cookson of BBC Radio Kent, they are excited and prepared to start.

Danny Pike from BBC Radio Sussex declared that they would surely require some snacks.

James Cannon, a broadcaster from BBC Radio Surrey, expressed his enthusiasm by saying "Let's get started!"
