Confirmed Chelsea line up v Nottingham Forest

Chelsea vs nottm Forest

Enzo Maresca has introduced 11 alterations to Chelsea's lineup for today's Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.

Just like in our cup games this season, Maresca implemented major changes for our 4-2 win against Gent in the Conference League on Thursday night. Today, we are going back to the same starting eleven that triumphed over Brighton & Hove Albion with the same score last weekend.

Robert Sanchez is back as the goalkeeper, maintaining his streak of starting every Premier League match this season. He’ll be shielded by a defensive line consisting of Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are back in the midfield, while Jadon Sancho is poised to take his place on the left wing again. Noni Madueke will return to the right side, and Cole Palmer is anticipated to play in the central role just behind Nicolas Jackson, who will lead the attack.

The Blues once again boast a variety of offensive alternatives on the bench, including Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Pedro Neto, and Christopher Nkunku as part of the substitutes.

Chelsea's lineup consists of: Sanchez in goal; Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, and Cucurella forming the defensive line; Caicedo and Fernandez (captain) in midfield; while Madueke, Palmer, and Sancho support Jackson up front.

Chelsea bench players: Jorgensen, Disasi, Tosin, Veiga, Lavia, Neto, Mudryk, Felix, Nkunku.

Nottingham Forest's lineup includes Sels in goal, with Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, and Moreno forming the defense. The midfield features captain Yates alongside Ward-Prowse, while Anderson, Gibbs-White, and Hudson-Odoi support Wood up front.

Alternatives for Forest: Carlos Miguel, Morato, Boly, Williams, Domínguez, Jota Silva, Elanga, Awoniyi, Sosa.
