BYD Presents New Energy Portfolio at The smarter E Europe and Celebrates 1 Million Installed BatteryBox Systems
BYD Co. Ltd., a leading company in rechargeable batteries and electric vehicles, presented its eco-friendly energy solutions at "The Smarter E Europe" event held from June 19 to 21. The exhibition at booth B1.130, B1.131 showcased the newest BatteryBox storage systems, BatteryMax Lite, and BYD MC Cube-T for large-scale, business, and industrial uses. Attendees had the opportunity to see the BYD electric vehicle "Seal" and discover BYD's position as the official E-Mobility Partner for UEFA Euro 2024™.
Since its introduction in 2015, the BYD BatteryBox series has become a top choice for home energy storage worldwide, with over 1 million units installed and a flawless safety record. To show gratitude to its partners, BYD held a special event on June 19th at 3:00 pm. During the event, certificates and prizes like tickets to the UEFA Euro 2024 final and BatteryBox systems were awarded to distributors and installers by Yin Xiaoqiang, General Manager of BYD Energy Storage. The event showcased the complete BYD BatteryBox Premium lineup, which includes high-voltage models HVS/HVM and low-voltage models LVL/LVS. Additionally, a new battery control unit (BCU) for the HVM and HVS series was unveiled, making installation easier by eliminating the need to remove covers for cable connections.
Introduced at the ees Europe 2024 event, the latest BatteryMax Lite is made for use in commercial and industrial settings. It provides flexible options ranging from 30kWh to 90kWh, and can be expanded up to 5.76MWh by connecting multiple units in parallel. BatteryMax Lite is compatible with inverters offered by companies such as SMA and Goodwe. Pre-orders will begin in August, with deliveries starting in late summer. The system is expected to be available in Europe by October 2024.
At ees Europe 2024, BYD was given the honor of being named the "Top Brand PV Storage Europe 2024" and also received country-specific awards for Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Austria, and the UK. This recognition reaffirms BYD's position as the top brand for PV energy storage systems in Europe according to feedback from installers and distributors.
