27 out of 52 laps have been completed in the race. Verstappen and Sainz have entered the pit lane to switch their tyres. The leading four drivers will also need to make a pit stop for fresh tyres in the near future.

In the 26th out of 52 laps, Piastri informs his team that it's not the right time to switch to intermediate tires. Sainz notices that the track has become wetter, causing difficulties for his Ferrari to navigate a corner. At the front of the race, Norris and Piastri are getting closer to each other and are set to compete against each other.

21 out of 52 laps, McLaren is leading with their Mercedes-powered car. But then, Piastri quickly overtakes Hamilton, making it McLaren-Mercedes-McLaren-Mercedes. Hamilton is then questioned if he would like to switch to new tires.

Norris Leads The Way!

In the 20th lap of the race, Norris zooms past Hamilton at the Stowe corner. Russell and Piastri are also in the mix, with Piastri managing to overtake Russell as well.

In the 19th lap out of 52, both Mercedes cars go off the track, allowing Norris to overtake struggling Russell. The DRS system is disabled, setting the stage for an intense race ahead.

18 out of 52 laps have been completed and McLaren is having a smooth race. Russell is facing difficulties in the wet conditions, while Hamilton is thriving with the extra downforce. He is currently leading the race.

In the 7th round of the race, Russell continues to hold the title for the fastest lap and is currently cruising comfortably towards victory.
