It has been a long time since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were captured in a single photograph, for a duration of 47 days, as gossips of strain in their relationship spread like wildfire throughout the tabloids.

The prominent pair was last seen in a snapshot on March 30th, clasping hands while strolling through the avenues of New York City.

The celebrity known for her hit song "I'm Real", who is 54 years old, has been frequenting the city a lot lately. She has been occupied with promoting and publicizing her latest movie, Atlas, on Netflix. In addition, she was seen walking up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art as she was one of the co-heads for the annual Met Gala event this year.

Lopez was busy working on the movie Kiss of the Spiderwoman, a film adaptation of the Broadway musical from 1993. The musical was based on Manuel Puig's influential novel from 1976 and also stars Diego Luna from Andor.

At present, the acclaimed filmmaker, who has won an Academy Award, is said to be occupied shooting The Accountant 2 on the West Coast and attending the Roast of Tom Brady on 5 May. Being that they are both appearing in public events alone, it has caused speculation to spread like wildfire.

According to a source referred to as an "insider," In Touch reported on Wednesday that the couple has ended their relationship.

According to a source, they had been anticipating a reunion for nearly 20 years, but unfortunately, they were unable to successfully restore their relationship. Despite their deep affection for one another, their inability to compromise and accept each other's flaws were the main reasons why their relationship couldn't withstand the test of time. It was an inevitable downfall.

According to an insider, Affleck has vacated their extravagant residence in order to concentrate on his career pursuits and parenting responsibilities. This information was disclosed to a popular gossip magazine.

At the same time, TMZ is suggesting that Affleck has decided to permanently reside at his Brentwood property. They evidently back up their assertion with photographic evidence showing him driving away from his house in a rush.

The well-known duo, who were one of the earliest power couples to be given a combination name known as Bennifer, have had a widely documented public relationship. This started back in 2001 when they met on the set of the heavily criticised movie Gigli.

The couple garnered a lot of attention from the media for a year and a half. The papers closely followed their activities, even when they acted in Jersey Girl and made the memorable "Jenny on the Block" music video.

But, the intense interest from the public towards their love story later evolved into criticism after Gigli received mediocre reviews. As a result, their relationship was affected negatively and caused them to delay their wedding that was supposed to happen in September 2003, because of the excessive coverage from the media.

After four months, the duo went different directions but kept in contact and praised each other. During Ben Affleck’s appearance on Live TV show in 2008, he was asked about his thoughts on their relationship, and he mentioned that they never thought their romance would receive so much attention. He also admitted that they were in love and too open to everyone.

Towards the end of 2017, Lopez concurred with Affleck's view, as she stated to Vanity Fair that she had been deeply hurt by the highly critical media attention during their intense love affair.

They both went on to be in well-known romantic relationships, as Lopez tied the knot with Puerto Rican vocalist Marc Anthony only half a year after her split with Affleck. The couple remained married for a total of seven years and welcomed twin children named Emme and Max, both of whom are now 16 years old. However, the pair eventually called it quits in 2011 and legally finalized their divorce in 2014.

After his split with Lopez, the actor from Gone Girl tied the knot with Jennifer Garner, a whole year later. They remained in a relationship for a decade and welcomed three children together - two daughters named Violet and Fin, who are now 18 and 15, respectively, and a son named Samuel, who is 12 years old. However, their marriage came to an end in 2014 when they decided to part ways through a divorce.

The influential pair reignited their love affair in the year 2021. Subsequently, they secretly tied the knot in the city of Las Vegas during July, followed by a spectacular celebration held outside of Savannah, Georgia, on Affleck's extensive 87-acre estate in August.
