After his final match as Liverpool's manager at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp shouted the name of his successor Arne Slot.

Klopp wore a red hoodie that had the phrase "I'll never Walk Alone" written on it and sang a song called "Arne Slot, la la la la la" while entertaining the home supporters. The tune he sang to was from a band named Opus from Austria, titled "Live is Life".

On Friday, Slot, who has been coaching at Feyenoord in the Netherlands since 2021, announced that he will be taking over as the manager of Liverpool FC. Though neither club has made an official statement confirming the appointment, it is anticipated that Liverpool will make an announcement about it next week.

After being at Anfield for almost nine years, Klopp is departing. In his last game, there was a lot of emotions as they secured a 2-0 victory against Wolverhampton.

Before addressing his fans, the German received replicas of all his won trophies.

"I am utterly taken aback," he stated with disbelief. "Initially, I had assumed that I would have been left shattered. However, I am thrilled to announce that this is not the case. I am over the moon, and it's surreal. You guys are fantastic, and the ambiance, the gameplay, and our team have all been fantastic. I cannot thank you enough for being a part of this wonderful family and for celebrating this occasion with us. Simply unbelievable. Thank you!"
