Anthony Hill: Body found in search for missing teacher who worked for Martin Lewis's MoneySavingExpert

The authorities have discovered a deceased person during the search for a teacher who was previously employed by Martin Lewis's MoneySavingExpert website.

Anthony Hill, aged 37, was declared as missing from his residence in Norwich on Monday.

A dead person was discovered in a location near Heathgate, which is situated northeast of the city center, just before 8pm on Thursday, according to Norfolk Police.

Even though formal identification has not been completed yet, the family of Mr. Hill has been notified, according to the officers.

The police said on their website that they do not think the death is suspicious, and they will be preparing a file for the coroner.

Martin Lewis, who posted a police request for help finding a missing person on Tuesday, described Mr. Hill as a "kind person who used to be a part of the MoneySavingExpert deals team before deciding to follow his strong desire to become a teacher".

On Friday, Mr. Lewis posted on X to announce that a body had been discovered. He expressed deep sorrow and sent his thoughts and love to Ant's wife, Kayleigh, and their young daughters.

Mr. Lewis expressed that it was terrible news.

I feel sad for all of Ant's friends and his young students. I will always remember you with love, Ant.

The money expert showed gratitude to the many individuals who posted on social media during Mr. Hill's disappearance.

"I know it provided comfort to his family," he added.

Mr Lewis founded the MoneySavingExpert website in 2003 and then went on to sell it to the MoneySupermarket Group in 2012.

In a blog post on Thursday, Kayleigh Hill expressed her gratitude to everyone who participated in the search for her husband, Mr. Hill. She described feeling touched by the outpouring of support from the community, even though they were all strangers to him.
