Adam Azim has dominated his professional career thus far. He recently claimed victory over Franck Petitjean, earning himself the prestigious title of European super-lightweight champion.

The champion who was 35 years old had a lot of experience and had only lost once in 33 fights before going into the ring for the match.

On Saturday at The Halls in Wolverhampton, Azim displayed superior skills to defeat the champion. He took control of the ring right away and was able to establish a dominant score against the champion through the early rounds, thanks to his lightning-fast movements and smart use of footwork.

Petitjean seemed unsure of himself in front of Azim's strength, but he was clever in defending himself and managed to dodge a lot of punches in the beginning. However, in the fifth round, Azim hit Petitjean with a strong left punch to the body, causing him to fall down hard on the ground.

Despite showing signs of weakness, Petitjean was able to avoid being knocked out by the referee. However, as the fight went on, his defense became weaker and weaker, allowing Azim to land more and more hits.

Adam Azim made his comeback in the boxing ring on Saturday, facing off against Franck Petitjean at The Halls venue located in Wolverhampton.

The young 21-year-old boxer started strong right from the beginning, constantly throwing punches at his opponent who had more experience.

round of their boxing match. The referee called a technical knockout (TKO) due to Petitjean's inability to continue fighting. Azim knocked down Petitjean two times before Petitjean's team gave up and stopped the fight during the tenth round. The referee declared Azim the winner by TKO because Petitjean could not continue boxing.

Azim was penalized during the ninth round for hitting Petitjean below the belt. However, the difference in scores was so significant that Petitjean's only hope to retain his title was to knock out Azim within the remaining three rounds.

Definitely not discouraged by the referee's involvement, Azim persisted with his attack towards the final rounds of the championship. He repeatedly blitzed Petitjean and successfully executed an uppercut that resulted in his second knockdown of the match.

Petitjean proved to be tough as he got back up on his feet. However, it was clear that his opponent was dominating the fight and there was no chance for Petitjean to come back. With 43 seconds left in the tenth round, Petitjean's corner decided to stop the fight to prevent any more harm to their fighter.

Azim was able to win his first major title as a professional in less than three years after beginning his career.

"I feel great," he said to Sky Sports. "He was extremely challenging, I realized I couldn't defeat him in the beginning rounds. This match was a step towards my personal growth, and I had to persist even when the going got tough. I managed to bring him down, just like chopping down a tree. I could have continued fighting for another 15 rounds without getting tired."

Azim battled against the unbeaten Danish super-lightweight Enock Poulsen in the boxing ring after the fight. Both fighters were scheduled to go head-to-head in February.

The European super-lightweight championship title is the initial significant accolade Azim has achieved in his rising professional trajectory.
