Conor McGregor shared his opinion on social media about Ryan Garcia's positive test for ostarine before he defeated Devin Haney in an unexpected victory. Ostarine is a substance that enhances performance.

According to McGregor, Garcia deserves to be banned for life due to his usage of substances to improve performance.

McGregor posted on X, saying that Ryan Garcia used illegal substances to enhance his weightlifting performance and has been banned from the sport for life. McGregor expressed his disappointment and disgust towards Ryan and warned him to stay away from him if they ever cross paths.

Garcia provided urine samples before his fight last month, but the outcomes weren't disclosed until a later time. His test showed ostarine presence on the day before and on the day of the competition, as he won by a majority decision.

Garcia put up a video on X to defend himself after his test results were made public.

In the video, Garcia confidently stated that he operates with honesty and would never participate in cheating. He proudly declared that he has never used steroids and has no knowledge of how to obtain them. Furthermore, he claimed to use supplements sparingly, despite his opponent's accusations. Garcia concluded by dismissing the accusations as falsehoods and boasting about his victory.

Although Garcia's professional boxing record stands at 25-1, he hasn't yet earned a world title. In the recent fight held last month, Garcia couldn't clinch the world super lightweight title as he failed to make the required weight of 140 pounds. His weight at the weigh-in was recorded at 143.2 pounds.

Haney made a statement to ESPN regarding Garcia's positive drug test results. He expressed that it was regrettable that Garcia resorted to using performance-enhancing substances, and that he should apologize to his supporters.

Recently, we were made aware of a situation that disappoints us greatly. Ryan has cheated and shown disrespect towards both the fans and the sport of boxing by fighting unfairly and testing positive twice. As Haney stated, Ryan needs to apologize to the public. It seems that he still believes that everything is a joke despite his recent tweet. Our profession involves risking our lives to entertain others, and boxing is not a game. This unfortunate scenario changes the vibe of the fight entirely. I was still able to fight despite the disadvantage and even rose up again. Boxing is a sport where people have lost their lives, so it's necessary to take it seriously and not treat it as a joke.

It is currently unknown what kind of consequences Garcia will encounter, but McGregor thinks he should be disqualified from fighting in the WBC.
