In his World Championship semi-final match, Stuart Bingham managed to tie with Jak Jones at 8-8 by winning the last frame of the second session.

Bingham achieved victory in the first two rounds, but Jones presented an outstanding performance that allowed him to obtain the lead a few times.

Jones appeared ready to gain a lead of two frames by the end of the day against a struggling Bingham. However, Bingham showed resilience and put forth extra effort in the last frame to split the session.

The duo is scheduled to resume their game on Saturday morning and wrap it up later in the evening.

Bingham emerged victorious in a cautious exchange at the beginning of the second round and displayed his determination by breaking open the group of balls at an opportune moment. This decision resulted in success as he managed to score 79 points, giving him a slight lead at 5-4.

After winning the Crucible championship in 2015, Bingham quickly gained momentum in the first session. He continued his winning streak on Friday by scoring a 107, the first century of the competition, and extending his lead by two frames.

It took Jones some time to get comfortable and he had to make six attempts at scoring before he finally won the 11th frame.

Following a calming demeanor, Jones scored a total of 67 points during the 12th round, resulting in an equal score of 6-6 at the halfway mark.

At the end of the first half of the game, Bingham seemed dissatisfied, with an upset expression on his face. He had been performing exceptionally well for most of the match and may have been thinking about the black ball he failed to sink in the 12th round.

The player's emotions might not have gotten better after the break, as Jones entered the game with an excellent long red shot following Bingham's weak safety play. He then made a tense score of 68, with many balls hesitating before falling into the pockets, and thus managed to take the lead for the first time during the match.

"Fantastic play" - Jones successfully sinks a difficult red ball into the pocket labeled as "green".

Bingham managed to stabilize his performance by winning the 14th round, but Jones made him work hard for it. Although Bingham had a impressive score of 48, it seemed like it would be an effortless win with Jones needing three additional snookers.

He acquired a pair of balls and compelled Bingham to perform multiple impressive maneuvers on the brown ball, before finally sinking it to even the score at 7-7.

Bingham crossed the finish line in the 14th round, but it appeared to have an impact on him as he missed hitting a red ball by a large distance in the 15th round.

Jones did not have excellent control of the cue-ball. However, he managed to continuously pot the balls and a consecutive score of 68 helped him regain the lead.

Jones had a feeling of déjà vu on the 16th in the game of snooker when he failed to escape from a snooker seven times in a row. After eight attempts, he finally succeeded but gave Bingham an opportunity to play.

Bingham approached the table with hesitation and ended up not taking advantage of the opportunity. However, Jones later provided him with another chance.

Bingham's nonverbal cues were negative and he made 22 points before encountering a setback, however the penalty fouls gave him a 61-point advantage.

In addition to emitting negative body language, Bingham appeared to have a confused or disorganized mind.

He made a few doubtful decisions when taking his shots which gave Jones the opportunity to strike back, however he managed to successfully pocket the last red ball and clinch a tie in that round.
