Emma Stone wears bold one-shoulder gown at the 2024 BAFTAs

Emma Stone looked incredibly glamorous as she walked down the red carpet for the 2024 BAFTAs awards held at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday evening (18 February).

The actress who was nominated for the Best Actress award for the movie Poor Things looked absolutely gorgeous wearing a one-shoulder peach-colored dress that had an eye-catching puffed sleeve, which was inspired by her character, Bella Baxter.

Designer Louis Vuitton created a unique outfit with a silk bodice paired with a chiffon skirt and a quilted band. The design seems to have been influenced by the fashion style of the 19th century, as seen in the film.

Emma completed her outfit by wearing a sparkling diamond necklace and earrings. She chose to apply a deep pink lipstick and a peachy blush on her face, which matched her dress excellently.

Emily Blunt, Rosamund Pike, and Cate Blanchett were among the many famous guests in attendance at the event full of celebrities.

David Tennant is taking on the role of host for this year's ceremony, marking his debut in the position. Attendees can also look forward to some amazing live musical performances, including one by Hannah Waddingham. But the highlight of the night will be the appearance of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who will thrill audiences with her 2001 hit "Murder on the Dancefloor," which was featured in the British movie Saltburn.

This year's nomination leader is the biographical drama Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie portrays the renowned physicist recognized as the "father of the atomic bomb" and has received a total of 13 nominations.

Yorgos Lanthimos' film, Poor Things, has received a total of 11 nominations, including recognition for the best film and best actress (Emma Stone).

At this moment, there are several British films in the running, such as Saltburn, All of Us Strangers, and Wonka.
