You season 4: Is Love Quinn in the new Netflix series?

10 Feb 2023

You is back with a bang on Netflix, this time around in London. And while Joe Goldberg, aka Jonathan Moore, is joined by a whole new host of characters, fans are desperately hoping to see Love Quinn, his wife from season 3.

*Spoilers* In the last season, viewers watched as Joe (Penn Badgley) and Love (played by Victoria Pedretti) moved to the suburbs to live a 'quiet life' along with their son. Things took a dramatic turn when Love discovered Joe was having an affair with Marienne, leading the serial killer to poison his wife, making her death look like an accident.

At the start of season four, Joe has relocated to London, and as far as we know, Love is very much dead across the pond in California. But that hasn't stopped fans on Twitter speculating / hoping she'll make a TV return.

"Starting YOU season 4, I can't wait for Love Quinn to come back to life," one person wrote, while another said, "I am currently watching You season 4 episode 1 and I’m still mad as hell Love died last season I still need my own Love… Love is the real her."

Others put, "Finished YOU season 4 part 1. Not too bad but I need Love Quinn back. I miss her and I need her to get her revenge back."

Sadly though, a You showrunner has now confirmed Victoria Pedretti will not be returning for any more episodes, and Love is very much dead. Sera Gamble told Newsweek: "She is lying there [dead]. I'm not trying to be 'was there a parachute under that seat in the airplane?' She is [dead]."

On playing the 'She's not actually dead!' card earlier in the series, Sera continued, "We've done that before with Candace but you know, there were questions you could ask about that. I feel like you literally watch every second of her [Love] dying, right on the screen. I love that people will always have questions. That's really satisfying to me as somebody who's working with something and trying to surprise people."

That's the end of that one, then.

You season 4 part 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
