Emma Raducanu is back at Wimbledon after two years and will be playing on Centre Court against a different opponent than originally planned. She is the former US Open champion and is ready to showcase her skills once again at this prestigious tournament.

Raducanu was supposed to play against 22nd seed Ekaterina Alexandrova, but the Russian withdrew due to injury at the last minute on Monday. As a result, Raducanu will now compete against lucky loser Renata Zarazua from Mexico, who is ranked 98th in the world.

Last year, the British player couldn't compete in the tournament because she had surgery on her wrists and one of her ankles. However, she has shown signs of playing well on the grass before the Championships.

The player who received a last-minute invitation to play at Wimbledon achieved her first win against a top-ranked player by defeating Jessica Pegula at Eastbourne. Raducanu is feeling very sure of herself as she prepares for the upcoming tournament.

Prior to facing a new opponent, Raducanu was downplaying expectations by stating that she would be extremely happy just to make it past the first round. However, going up against a player ranked lower than her now definitely opens up a chance for success. Here is all the information you need to know.

Emma Raducanu Vs Renata Zarazua: Date And Time

The second match of the day on Centre Court features Raducanu facing off against Zarazua. As is customary, the defending men's champion will kick off the action on Centre Court, with Carlos Alcaraz going up against qualifier Mark Lajal.

Alcaraz's game will begin at approximately 1:45pm BST and if he is playing well, he could potentially win in a few hours. However, in the first set, he was pushed to a tiebreak before narrowly coming out on top.

Raducanu might have her match scheduled for around 4pm on Monday, but there is a possibility that it could start a little later than that.
