Wimbledon ballot 2025

Yesterday, many people signed up for a chance to attend the 2025 Wimbledon Championships as tickets for the famous tennis tournament went on sale on Monday.

Many people signed up for the chance to attend the 2025 Wimbledon Championships when tickets went on sale.

Supporters had to stand in line for more than 60 minutes because of the high number of people wanting tickets, even though the deadline for entries is not until September 16th.

The prices for tickets to watch the Championships, which were won by Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejcikova this year, start at £20 for ground passes on the weekends of the finals. The most expensive tickets are £315 for the top seats in the finals.

The tickets for the Wimbledon men's and women's finals are the same price, which matches the equal prize money given at the All England Club.

Seats on both Centre Court and Court No. 1 are being sold at varying prices depending on their proximity to the playing area, with those nearer to the court generally being more costly.

The least expensive ticket for the last match on Centre Court will cost fans £240, while the priciest ticket available through the ballot is £315.

Initial ground tickets are still priced at £30 throughout most of the two-week tournament.

"We are excited to announce the opening of the Wimbledon Public Ballot for The Championships 2025," said Usama Al-Qassab, who serves as the marketing and commercial director at the All England Club, in an interview with City A.M.

We got a lot of requests for Ballots for the 2024 event, and had our second-largest turnout ever with over 500,000 fans attending over the two weeks.

Established in 1924, the Ballot is a key element of our special ticketing system. We believe it is the most just way to allow everyone the chance to purchase tickets for Wimbledon.

We want all fans to make sure they enter the Ballot by Monday 16 September for the opportunity to come to Wimbledon with us next year.

If you don't win the ballot, you can still join the regular line in 2025.

The upcoming Championships will be the first without British tennis star Andy Murray, who has retired. Many people are suggesting that a court at the All England Club should be named in his honor.
