Tyson Fury rages after defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, claiming he was 'robbed' and opponent 'got a Christmas gift'
Tyson Fury expressed that he felt "cheated" after suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in their heavyweight world title rematch.
After defeating Fury by a narrow split decision in May and claiming the title of the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis, the Ukrainian successfully defended his WBO, WBA, and WBC titles on Saturday. All three judges awarded him the fight with scores of 116-112.
Fury, who had a perfect record of 35 professional victories before his match with Usyk, acted as if he had emerged victorious when the final bell rang, appearing stunned as the judges announced the scores.

"I truly believe I won by at least three rounds. I completely controlled the fight and was always on the offensive."
In a press conference held shortly after the fight, Fury shared his thoughts in a calmer manner but maintained that the outcome was unjust. He supported his claim by referencing the views of his promoter, Frank Warren.
"Frank had me leading by three or four rounds, and many people had me ahead by at least two," Fury mentioned.
"Things are what they are; there's no use dwelling on the past. What’s done is done."

I've been involved in boxing for as long as I can remember, and while there's no way to alter past decisions, I'll always feel a sense of injustice about some outcomes. If you don't achieve a knockout, there's no assurance that you'll come out on top.
"I believe I emerged victorious in both matches. I'm fully convinced that I won this one as well. It seems like Usyk received an unexpected advantage, but I don't blame Oleksandr for that."

After the match, Warren remarked in the ring, "How is it possible that Tyson only completed four rounds in this bout? That's just not feasible."
He's quite let down, and I feel the same. Everyone at the front of the ring shared that view.
"This is crazy. Did you really only score him four rounds out of eight? I just don’t understand."

"Fury Uncertain: Future Fights In Question"
After Usyk's second victory over Fury, the possibility of a trilogy fight appears unlikely. It's uncertain if the 36-year-old will keep fighting or decide to retire.
Fury mentioned that he hasn't yet determined what his next steps will be.
"I wish to return home and enjoy a wonderful Christmas," he said.
"I put a lot of effort into preparing for this match. I really appreciate everyone who showed up and cheered me on."

"You might witness me in the ring once more, or you might not."
Warren indicated that the Fury team will need a while to decide on their next steps.
"We'll need to wait and see what unfolds for Tyson down the line," Warren remarked.
"I believed he was in command, fought strategically, and kept Usyk on the defensive."
"It’s Tyson’s decision whether he wants to fight again. Emotions are still intense right after a match."

Nelson: No Chance Fury Won, Ever!
Sky Sports analyst Johnny Nelson rejected the accusations of a "robbery" coming from the Fury camp but acknowledged that he was taken aback by how decisively all three judges scored the bout in Usyk’s favor.
Nelson mentioned, "I viewed the fight as a bit tighter. Usyk was the one making almost all the moves, while Tyson found himself mostly responding."
Usyk was the one following a strategy, while Tyson was the one trying to cope with it.

"Definitely, it was a tight match, and I don't believe the judges' scores reflected that. However, I recognize that Usyk performed exceptionally well."
There were moments when Tyson seemed more vulnerable than his opponent whenever the punches landed. He appeared to hesitate more and often seemed to be on the defensive, reacting to the situation rather than taking charge.
Frank claimed he believed Tyson was the winner. That's just part of being a promoter. There's absolutely no way he genuinely thought Tyson won.
"The top candidate came out on top that evening and accomplished the task."
