Who won I'm A Celeb 2024

After three weeks filled with Bushtucker challenges, an endless array of creepy-crawlies, and unpleasant dishes, the jungle welcomes a new champion.

After a series of challenging Bushtucker trials filled with waves of creepy crawlies, disgusting organ dishes, and the occasional sing-along, the jungle now has its new king or queen.

Three weeks ago, twelve famous individuals ventured into the Australian outback, facing a challenging diet of rice and beans, persistent rain, and the embarrassment of using basic toilet facilities.

Everyday life was filled with a continuous cycle of tasks, daunting tests, obstacles to overcome, fireside chats, and an occasional rat.

In the last week, the evictions took place as the audience started to decide who they wanted to crown as the champion of the series.

This all concluded on Sunday night with a fresh crowning on ITV's I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here, along with some sympathy for the second-place contestant.

Who Won I'm A Celebrity 2024?

On Sunday night, Danny Jones, the singer and guitarist of McFly, was named the new king of the jungle.

He reached the final alongside Coleen Rooney, who is the spouse of ex-England football star Wayne Rooney, and Rev Richard Coles, a presenter and writer.

The former secured third place in the public vote, with Jones and Rooney still in the running for the top spot.

Ultimately, it was the vocalist and artist who emerged victorious after all the public votes were tallied.

He expressed, "It's incredible; I'm at a loss for words."

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude. Your decision to vote truly means a lot to me. Thank you!

"It's as if you've purchased tickets for a performance."

"But what's even more incredible is that you've accepted me for who I am, and I haven't truly expressed my gratitude for that."

"I've shared my feelings, and I've enjoyed plenty of good times."

"I appreciate you joining me on this journey."

The 38-year-old was quite popular among the team and also with the audience voting throughout the series.

Always eager to take on a challenge, he participated in the inaugural Bushtucker trial alongside former boxing champion Barry McGuigan.

This marked the beginning of a strong friendship between the two, although Jones had to go through an awkward experience when a snake ended up in his shorts.

He then encountered the terrifying High Street of Horrors, where he dealt with pig testicles, fish entrails, and other shocking challenges in the Rank Bank and the Celebrity Cyclone.

He took charge of the sing-along at the Jungle Arms, strumming his guitar.

For Danny, the best part of his adventure was simply being himself with his fellow campers.

He expressed, "It truly felt like a place where I could be safe... I put in everything; I offered up my entire self."

The artist received his title in front of a crowd filled with his past campmates, such as Oti Mabuse, Melvin Odoom, Barry McGuigan, GK Barry, Maura Higgins, Dean McCullough, and Alan Halsall.

"Final Episode: What Went Down?"

On Sunday, Coleen Rooney and Rev Richard Coles were the final celebrities remaining in the jungle alongside Jones.

The three of them participated in one final Bushtucker challenge to earn a three-course meal of their liking.

They encountered fish entrails, spiders, and cockroaches in the Towers of Terror.

During the initial part of the challenge, the campers found themselves in a wooden tower, each resting on different levels while snakes were introduced to the scene.

They had to navigate the stars through their working spaces, handing them off to each other until they made it to the bottom level of the tower.

Even though they were feeling uneasy, they successfully gathered all six stars and progressed to the second part of the challenge. Here, they needed to untangle different knots while being surrounded by various creatures.

Once they collected all the leftover stars, they earned a prize of a three-course dinner along with a beverage.

Jones opted for a chilled beer, began his meal with mozzarella sticks accompanied by sweet chili sauce, and then enjoyed a buttermilk chicken burger with fries as his main dish. To end his meal, he indulged in fresh cream profiteroles drizzled with warm Nutella.

Rooney, who is 38 years old, enjoyed a drink of French pale Provence rosé. For her appetizer, she chose bruschetta, followed by spaghetti Bolognese topped with grated parmesan and served with garlic bread as her main dish. To finish off her meal, she indulged in profiteroles filled with fresh cream and drizzled with warm Nutella sauce for dessert.

Coles, 62, began his meal with a prawn cocktail appetizer, followed by cottage pie with gravy as his main dish. For dessert, he enjoyed a slice of fruit cake and paired his meal with a glass of Chablis.

During dinner, the discussion shifted to Rev Coles' transformation from his indulgent days with The Communards to becoming a parish priest, presenter, and author.

The final three contestants had a moment to consider their time at camp before the results of the public vote were revealed.
