The technical hurdles are behind us, the last major obstacles have been resolved, and we have a fresh champion of the Great British Bake Off.
The finale was just as exciting as always, with the exceptionally skilled three finalists doing everything they could to impress the judges and claim the title of Great British Bake Off champion.
Even with a number of truly amazing cake designs on display, there could ultimately be just one champion.

After several weeks of intense rivalry, Georgie emerged as the champion of this year's Great British Bake Off.
A nurse has made history by becoming the first competitor from Wales to take home the title in The Great British Bake Off.
Upon learning about her victory, Georgie exclaimed, "This is unbelievable! I actually won! I can hardly wrap my head around it. It’s just amazing to think that I’ve won The Great British Bake Off."
Judge Dame Prue Leith remarked, "Georgie showcased her exceptional talent for traditional British baking, executing it flawlessly and deservedly taking home the win."
Paul Hollywood commented, "The incredible Georgie from Wales really knocked it out of the park."
Georgie went on to say, "There were moments during the series when I felt like I might be sent home. It was incredible to represent Wales, and I received tremendous support from everyone back home. I really hope I made them proud."
When I found out I had won, it felt incredible and hard to grasp. My whole family was there, cheering me on. In the end, the biggest lesson I took away from the experience was the importance of being true to myself and having faith in my own abilities.
Hosted by Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond, the series featured 12 bakers who faced 30 different challenges over the course of 10 episodes.
In the last round, the bakers had to whip up some light and fluffy scones for their signature dish, while their final technical challenge required them to prepare a traditional afternoon tea.
In a stunning finale, the three finalists crafted a spectacular tiered cake designed to be the highlight of a summer garden party.
Georgie wowed the judges with a sponge cake made from elderflower and lemon, paired with a strawberry and champagne filling, along with a lemon curd and elderflower buttercream.
