England has secured a spot in the last 16 after Spain defeated Albania 1-0 on Monday night. Now, all focus is on the knockout phase, where they find themselves in a different group from strong teams like Germany, France, Spain, and Portugal. This is a big advantage for England.

Who might be England's upcoming opponents and where can you catch all the games live?

Midfielder Jude Bellingham from England celebrated after scoring the winning goal in the Three Lions' 1-0 victory against Serbia on June 16th.

The complete schedule for the round of 16 will not be decided until all the group stage games are finished on Wednesday, June 26th.

Just like in the earlier rounds, the games will take place at different stadiums across Germany, such as Berlin, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, and Frankfurt.

The opening match of the knockout stage will feature Switzerland facing off against Italy at 5pm on Saturday, June 29 in Berlin.

Since England emerged victorious in Group C, they will now face off against one of the top third-place finishers from either Group D, Group E, or Group F on June 30th.

As it stands currently, England might face the Netherlands in the round of 16 in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday at 5pm. This is because the Netherlands, managed by Ronald Koeman, were defeated by Austria in their last Group D match on Tuesday, with Austria ending up on top of the group before France.

If England ended up in second place in Group C, they would have played against Germany in Dortmund at 8pm on Saturday, June 29. However, Denmark will now take on that challenge instead.

If England had come in third place, they would be facing the winner of Group F, Portugal, in Frankfurt at 8pm on Monday, July 1, or the Group E champions — currently led by Romania, but favored to win by Belgium — at 5pm in Munich on Tuesday, July 2.

If England makes it through the knockout rounds, they will advance to the quarter-finals scheduled to begin on Friday, July 5th.

During the Euro 2024 Group C match between Denmark and England in Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday, June 20th, Joakim Maehle from Denmark tripped Jarrod Bowen from England.
