A recent announcement was made on Wednesday, September 4th, introducing a new approach for ticket sales called the "invitation-only ballot ticket sale strategy." This is being implemented as a way to begin making things right for the upcoming Wembley shows.

"Fans who were not able to purchase tickets during the first sale with Ticketmaster will have the first opportunity to apply for the ballot," the announcement explains.

It also guarantees to make it much easier for fans to get tickets, cutting down on the hassle and time it usually takes.

People who were not able to get tickets last weekend should have gotten an email by now. The email would have asked them to join the ballot and answer a new quiz question.

Before, fans were requested to identify the first drummer of the band. Now, they are being challenged to recall the date of Oasis' last performance at Wembley Stadium.

Passionate supporters may already be aware of the information, but for those who require assistance, we can reveal that the date in question is July 12, 2009, during their 'Dig Out Your Soul' tour.

Over the weekend, Oasis made a public announcement regarding the updated system. The statement mentioned that there will be more shows at Wembley and provided information about a private ballot. Eligible fans will receive invitations to participate in the ballot overnight on Saturday.

"If you logged into your Ticketmaster UK account on Saturday, August 31st and joined a queue for a particular show but didn't get a ticket, you might qualify to participate. Keep an eye on the email linked to your Ticketmaster account for instructions on how to enter the ballot. Be sure to also check your spam folder to ensure you don't miss any important updates."

After you have completed the registration process, your name will be included in a drawing to receive a code for purchasing tickets to the final Wembley show. Codes are limited in order to meet the high demand and prevent long lines like last week. It is important to note that being entered into the drawing does not guarantee that you will receive a code.

Only fans who have been invited are able to participate in the ballot. You need to sign up using the email address that received the invitation and is linked to your Ticketmaster account. Any other entries will not be considered. If you didn't receive an email invitation, you won't be able to join the ballot. Even if you try to register, you will still be excluded automatically.

Tickets for the band's return were in high demand, causing many fans to feel let down due to the outrageously high prices.

Supporters who waited in line for hours to purchase tickets this weekend were surprised to find that the price for general admission standing tickets had increased due to Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing strategy. In certain instances, ticket prices had even doubled, leaving fans taken aback.
