Featuring an impressive cast including Shazad Latif, Lily James, Emma Thompson, Asim Chaudhry, and Sajal Aly, viewers will embark on a journey following the couple as they confront the realities of a cross-cultural relationship.

Kapur, an acclaimed Indian filmmaker, hopes to achieve success with this, his ninth directorial feature, and first since 2007’s Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Others at the box office this weekend include Cocaine Bear, a crime-thriller directed by Elizabeth Banks, Joyland, a film banned in Pakistan which has been entered for the 2023 Oscars, and Broker, which blends cinema and contemporary dance.

Additionally, Bollywood action-comedy Selfiee and concert film Boy George And The Culture Club – One World, One Love will open to cinemas.

Popular Marvel title Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania along with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and Avatar: The Way Of Water are also on release this weekend and will look to buck the trend of Marvel titles dwindling after their initial release.
