David Moyes, the manager, has decided to switch up the starting lineup for the upcoming match against Bristol City in the third-round replay of the Emirates FA Cup. This decision comes after their previous match ended in a tie with a score of 1-1 at London Stadium. Four changes have been made to the team.

Aaron Cresswell, Saïd Benrahma, Maxwel Cornet and Danny Ings will be included in the starting lineup for the game at Ashton Gate, instead of Edson Álvarez, Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Lucas Paquetá.

In the game against the Robins on January 7th, Bowen scored a goal for the Hammers. However, Billy McKinlay, the first-team coach, announced in his pre-game interview that Bowen would not be playing due to his injury. Paquetá, who also suffered an injury during the same game, was confirmed to be absent for the upcoming match as well.

Cresswell and Benrahma didn't get to play in the first game and are hoping to make an impact in the next match in the West Country. Cresswell has played 5 times already this season, while Benrahma has yet to score a goal in his 22 appearances so far.

More modifications at the forefront - caused by injuries and Mohammed Kudus participating in the Africa Cup of Nations. This resulted in Cornet and Ings joining the team, hoping to achieve their first scoring goals in the season after their second and fifth appearances respectively.

In another location, the experienced goalkeeper named Łukasz Fabiański begins as the goalkeeper for the team. In addition, the team captain Kurt Zouma and Konstantinos Mavropanos take their places in the defense, positioned just in front of him.

In the lineup, Vladimír Coufal and Emerson have been confirmed. James Ward-Prowse, who has scored five FA Cup goals, and Tomáš Souček complete the midfield duo.

West Ham has an abundance of young and promising players waiting on the bench, such as Kaelan Casey, Ollie Scarles, and Divin Mubama. These talented players hope to secure more opportunities to play with the senior squad. Last season, Casey and Scarles both had their chance to make their first-team debuts in the UEFA Europa Conference League during an away game against FCSB in the group stage.

Callum Marshall, a talented forward from Northern Ireland, recently won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for December. As a result of this achievement, he may have the opportunity to make his official senior debut if Manager Moyes decides to call on him.

The lineup for Bristol City consisted of O'Leary, Tanner, Vyner, Dickie, McCrorie, Williams, James as the captain, Pring, Gardner-Hickman, Mehmeti, and Conway. On the bench were Bajic as the goalkeeper, Knight-Lebel, Roberts, Knight, Nelson, Cornick, King, Bell, and Wells.
